Description
It displays either what is visible from the spacecraft (Earth, sun, moon, planets and stars) or the earth-spacecraft scene seen from far away.
Can drive:
o the SMT02F Attitude Test Bench to forcedly rotate the CubeSat as simulated;
o the SMT02E21A Star Tracker Test Equipment to show a star tracker or a spacecraft camera the sky portion pointed by satellite;
Controls magnetic field generation within the cage, using international geomagnetic reference field (IGRF) models for LEO; other models can also be offered upon request.
Can compute (and send to SpaceMotionery’s smt02c13 3-D Helmholtz Cage) 3-D fields either constant or low-spin sinewaves, or mimic magnetic field in any user-defined orbit with either constant or variable attitude. In addition, it can also add random magnetic noise as requested by state-of-the-art testing procedures.
Natively supports the international Geomagnetic reference field (IGRF) but can support other additional models.
Features a user-friendly interface with real-time visualization of the satellite in its orbit around Earth, the Earth and sky vision from the satellite, direction of magnetic field lines in 3D, on a computer monitor, plus x, y, and z magnetic field components and current (both graphical or numeric).
Can store several testing scenarios and data measured from the spacecraft to ensure consistency and repeatability in experiments.
User can modify orbital parameters to meet specific requirements.
