A set of three orthogonal axes (X-red, Y-green, Z-blue) which can be assembled either as a right-handed or a left-handed orthogonal frame.
It is a very simple yet fundamental tool for teaching and understanding rotations in 3D space, spacecraft attitude and manoeuvres, spin and the relevant mathematical concepts, like rotation matrices, quaternions and Euler angles.
It can also be associated with SpaceMotionery’s SMT10B01 – Multi Sensor for remote monitoring of the actual orientation of the thre coordinates, which can easily be verified and analyzed by the teacher/tutor to correct wrong attitudes and warn students about their mistakes.
