Description
This is an accurate 10-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) capable of measuring:
- 3D gravity and acceleration up to +/- 2g, with accuracy better than +/-1%;
- 3D rotation, up to +/-260 degrees/s, with accuracy better than +/-1%;
- 3D magnetic field up to +/- 10G, with calibration-dependent accuracy;
- temperature, range -40 to +85°C.
It is primarily intended for testing small satellites (e.g. CubeSats) and performing various physics and STEM experiments.
The sensor has an SPI interface, but can be easily controlled via a smartphone or PC and monitored using MATLAB or Octave, when connected to any WiFi-enabled SpaceMotionery module including, among others, the SMT10D11S Standalone WiFi Module, the SMT01A01 1U Solar Simulator and the SMT02C13 Helmholtz Cage.
When connected to any WiFi-enabled module from SpaceMoptionery, it can be easily controlled via WiFi using a smartphone or PC and monitored using MATLAB or Octave.
Price is without cable. Cables are available in 40cm/1m/2m lengths. Other lengths are available on request.
