Description
It is an accurate electrical sensor capable of measuring:
- positive voltages up to 85V, with an accuracy of +/-0.1%;
- positive and negative currents up to +/- 4A (extendable to 8A), with an accuracy of +/-0.1%;
- positive and negative load power up to 340 W.
It is primarily intended for testing small satellites (e.g. CubeSats) and performing various physics and STEM experiments, but also for automating electronic measurements.
The sensor has an SPI interface, but can be easily controlled via a smartphone or PC and monitored using MATLAB or Octave, when connected to any SpaceMotionery WiFi-enabled module including, among others, the MT10D11S Standalone WiFi Module, the SMT01A01 1U Solar Simulator and the SMT02C13 Helmholtz Cage.
