Description
An innovative gimbal to rotate objects up to 60 cm in diameter (e.g. a 27U CubeSat) with 3 DOF in space.
The non-magnetic version of the gimbal is an improved version of a classic 3D gimbal but with motors and any magnetic material placed away from the device under test, such as not to distort the magnetic fields of the device nor those of the earth.
The devices can be rotated infinitely along any axis. Both versions can be easily placed inside SpaceMotionery’s 3D Helmholtz Coils.
